Aim 7d Sparrow War Thunder

War Thunder Noob Guide Made Simple: Mastering the Sparrow Missile

Understanding Radar and Lock-On Range

Your radar provides crucial information about the target, including its range and aspect. The sparrow missile has a minimum and maximum range, which you can find in the weapon's statistics. When the target is within the minmax range, the radar will lock onto it.

Aiming and Firing the Sparrow Missile

To aim the sparrow missile, you must first lock onto the target. This is done by activating your radar and keeping the target in your radar cone. Once the target is locked, you can fire the missile.

It's important to note that the sparrow missile has a guidance lock-out period of 2 seconds after launch. During this time, the missile will not track the target. After 2 seconds, the missile will start searching for the target within a 10-degree cone.

The sparrow missile requires a radar lock to guide it to the target. It cannot be fired blindly or used in situations where the target is not within the radar's range.

Tips for Using the Sparrow Missile Effectively

  • Ensure that the target is within the minmax range of the missile.
  • Maintain a lock on the target until the missile is fired.
  • Be aware of the guidance lock-out period after launch.
  • Use the missile in conjunction with your radar for optimal accuracy.
  • Practice regularly to improve your aim and timing.

By following these tips, you can master the sparrow missile and become a more effective pilot in War Thunder.
